On July 20, 2022, the Ministry of Information and Communications issues the Circular No. 10/2022/TT-BTTTT on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Minister of Information and Communications’ Circular No. 13/2018/TT-BTTTT dated October 15, 2018, providing the list of cyberinformation security products imported under permits and the order, procedures and dossiers for grant of permits for import of cyberinformation security products.
- For the parts of dossier, the new Circular annuls the requirement for a copy of the license for dealing in cyberinformation security products and services, accordingly, the dossiers of application for import permits include:
- Application for import permits
- A certified copy or a copy enclosed with the original for comparison of the certificate or declaration of standard or regulation conformity;
- A Vietnamese- or English-language copy of document describing the functions of the to-be-imported product.
- Regarding the mode of online submission, the Authority of Information Security shall comply with the roadmap on provision of online public services of the Ministry of Information and Communications in previous regulations when having no specific guidelines on online submission.
In the new regulations, conducting at the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Information and Communications, address https://dichvucong.mic.gov.vn or the National Public Service Portal.
On the receipt of import permits, enterprises shall receive import permits directly at the head office of the Authority of Information Security, by post or receive electronic versions on the Public Service Portal.
Especially, the time for appraisal of dossiers and grant of import permits is shortened from 07 days to 05 days working days after receiving a valid dossier.
This Circular takes effect on September 15, 2022.
