On September 12, 2022, the Government issues the Decree No. 62/2022/ND-CP defining the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
Accordingly, the organizational structure of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs adjust from 23 units to 21 units.
Within that, the Labor and Social Affairs newspaper. and The Family and Children magazine are replaced by Dan tri Newspaper; The Training School for Labor and Social Affairs Officials and Civil Servants is not included in the Ministry's organizational structure.
Besides, a number of units have names changed to be more suitable. In particular, the organizational structure of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in Decree 62 is as follows:
1. The Department of Social Insurance
2. The Department of Gender Equality.
3. The Department of Legal Affairs
4. The Department of International Cooperation.
5. The Department of Organization and Personnel.
6. The Department of Planning-Finance.
7. The Office.
8. The Inspectorate.
9. The Department of Labor Relations and Salary
10. The Department of Employment.
11. The Department of Overseas Labor
12. The Department of Work Safety
13. The Department for People with Meritorious Contributions.
14. The Department of Social Assistance.
15. The Department on Children.
16. The Department of Social Vice Prevention and Combat.
17. The Directorate of Vocational Education
18. The Institute of Labor Science and Social Affairs
19. The Information Center.
20. Dan tri Newspaper.
21. The Labor and Social Affairs magazine.
The units are administrative units assisting the Minister in performing the state management function:
- The Department of Social Insurance; The Department of Gender Equality; The Department of International Cooperation; The Department of Legal Affairs; The Department of Organization and Personnel; The Department of Planning-Finance.
- The Office; The Inspectorate
- The Department of Labor Relations and Salary; The Department of Employment; The Department of Overseas Labor; The Department of Work Safety; The Department for People with Meritorious Contributions; The Department of Social Assistance; The Department on Children; The Department of Social Vice Prevention and Combat; The Directorate of Vocational Education
Units are non-business units serving the Ministry’s state management function, including:
- The Institute of Labor Science and Social Affairs; The Information Center; Dan tri Newspaper; The Labor and Social Affairs magazine.
