These are the important contents prescribed in Directive No. 16/CT-TTG dated September 20, 2022, of the Prime Minister on improving health care for people; flexibly and actively have adaption, contribute to the rapid recovery and development.
In particular, the Prime Minister has the directive to take care, encourage, and improve the incentive policies for health officers as follows:
- The Ministry of Health shall take responsibility to take prime responsibility and coordinate with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and other relevant agencies in researching, suggesting the salary regimes and policies or specialized bonuses (solutions to keep and attract human resources are included) for health officers.
At the same time, having policies to support students and learners in health sectors; having policies on martyrs acknowledgment, and suitable solutions to protect health officers in working performance. s
- Ministries, Departments, especially the Ministry of Health, People’s Committees of provinces, and central-affiliated cities shall commend, praise, and highlight groups, and individuals in COVID-19 prevention while taking action against violations.
Besides, the Prime Minister also directs many other contents in the medical and health sector, including:
- Improve service quality; ensure the effective operation of medical examination and treatment system.
- Overall care for patients and improve their satisfaction in all levels;
- Develop medical technologies; At the same time, combine traditional medicine in taking health examination and care; rehabilitation, and health improvement.
- Improve working disciplines; promote administrative reform;
- Promote digital transformation in medical sectors: Remote medical treatment, online procedure, health records, cleaning vaccination data...
This Directive takes effect on September 20, 2022.
