Enterprises sending workers abroad must update operational information within 5 days after a change

On August 24, 2026, the XVIth National Assembly passed Law No. 22/2026/QH16 Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Vietnamese Guest Workers.

Point b, Clause 10, Article 1 of the 2026 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Vietnamese Guest Workers, No. 22/2026/QH16, which amends and supplements Point b, Clause 2, Article 26 of the 2020 Law on Vietnamese Guest Workers, No. 69/2020/QH14, provides:

To post on the service enterprise's website and update on the database on Vietnamese guest workers, within 5 days from the date of a change, information on: its at-law representative, professional staff, head office address, branches, business locations, physical foundations serving pre-departure orientation education activities for workers, decisions assigning tasks to its branches, and other information as prescribed by the Government.

Accordingly, a service enterprise sending Vietnamese workers abroad under contracts shall update its operational information on the database within 5 days from the date of a change. At the same time, the enterprise shall post the changed information on its website to ensure publicity and transparency throughout its operation.

The information subject to update includes:

• Information on the at-law representative and professional staff;
• The head office address, branches, business locations, and physical foundations serving pre-departure orientation education activities for workers;
• Decisions assigning tasks to branches; and
• Other information as prescribed by the Government.
