Automobiles must install with a camera to be granted with badges and signboards

This is the important contents prescribed in the Decree No. 47/2022/ND-CP issued by the Government o July 19, 2022 on amending and supplementing the Decree No. 10/2020/ND-CP providing by-automobile transport business and its conditions.

Accordingly, from July 01, 2023, transport business units using automobiles used for transport business that are subject to camera installation requirements must install itinerary monitoring devices integrated with a camera in order to be granted badges and signboards.

An itinerary monitoring device integrated with a camera must fully satisfy the requirements specified in the Decree No. 10/2020/ND-CP.

Besides, Decree 47 also supplements the conditions for transport business units using automobiles as follows: It is not allowed to use vehicles of under 10 seats renovated from vehicles with a capacity of 10 seats or more for passenger transport business.

At the same time, it is not allowed to use vehicles with sizes and designs similar to vehicles of 9 seats or more for the by-taxi passenger transport business.

The Decree No. 47/2022/ND-CP takes effect on September 01, 2022.
