The event is an opportunity to look back at the development journey of Vietnam’s leading national external news publication, while also highlighting its long-standing cooperative relationships with domestic and international partners, including LuatVietnam.

The event was attended by Mr. Pham Tat Thang, Member of the Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization; Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper; Ms. Le Thi Thu Hang, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi, Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; and Ms. Vu Viet Trang, General Director of the VNA, International Organizations, with international organizations, partners, and many generations of staff members, reporters, and editors who have been cooperating with Vietnam News over the past 35 years.

According to the event agenda, one of the key highlights was the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between Vietnam News and Law and its strategic partnership. Within the framework of the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam News and Law, signed and exchanged the Cooperation Agreement on English-Language Legal Media with Mr. Tran Van Tri, Director of LuatVietnam (Vietnam Law Communication Joint Stock Company). Mr. Nguyen Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam News and Law, presents the cooperation agreement to Mr. Tran Van Tri, Director of LuatVietnam.

LuatVietnam began its cooperation with the Vietnam Law and Legal Forum (VLLF) in 2010. At present, after VLLF was merged and began operating under the name Vietnam News and Law, the cooperative relationship between the two parties continues to be maintained and developed. Over the past 16 years, LuatVietnam has been one of the publication’s few long-term partners, sharing the common goal of delivering official legal information to a broad domestic and international readership.

It is noted that the Vietnam Law and Legal Forum is responsible for translating Vietnamese legal documents into English and for publishing the English Official Gazette, in accordance with tasks assigned by the Prime Minister to the Vietnam News Agency. Through cooperation with this entity, LuatVietnam is able to access and provide its clients with official English translations of Vietnamese legal documents, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and high quality.

Currently, LuatVietnam is regarded as the only online platform providing official English translations of the Official Gazette from the Vietnam News Agency. This data source is particularly valuable for foreign-invested enterprises, international organizations, law firms, legal professionals, and individuals seeking access to Vietnamese legal documents in English.

In addition to accessing English translations of legal documents, LuatVietnam is also permitted to use news and articles citing sources from the Vietnam Law and Legal Forum and Vietnam News. This contributes to enriching the content on LuatVietnam’s English-language section at https://english.luatvietnam.vn, helping international readers access legal information, policies, and Vietnam's business and investment environment in a more comprehensive and timely manner.
