Decree 202/2026/ND-CP amending Decree 10/2022/ND-CP on registration fee

DECREE

Amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government’s No. 10/2022/ND-CP of January 15, 2022, on registration fee^[1]

Pursuant to Law No. 63/2025/QH15 on Organisation of the Government;

Pursuant to Law No. 97/2015/QH13 on Charges and Fees;

At the proposal of the Minister of Finance;

The Government promulgates the Decree amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 10/2022/ND-CP of January 15, 2022, on registration fee.

Article 1. To amend and supplement Point c, Clause 5, Article 8 of the Government’s Decree No. 10/2022/ND-CP of January 15, 2022, on registration fee, as follows:

“c/ For battery electric vehicles: From the effective date of this Decree through December 31, 2030, the first-time registration fee rate is 0%. The classification of battery electric vehicles must comply with the Minister of Construction’s regulations”.

Article 2. To annul the phrase “(which is amended and supplemented in Article 1 of the Government’s Decree No. 51/2025/ND-CP of March 1, 2025)” in Clause 8, Article 1 of the Government’s Decree No. 175/2025/ND-CP of June 30, 2025, amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 10/2022/ND-CP of January 15, 2022, on registration fee.

Article 3. Effect

1. This Decree takes effect on March 1, 2027, and replaces the Government’s Decree No. 51/2025/ND-CP of March 1, 2025, amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 10/2022/ND-CP of January 15, 2022, on registration fee.

2. Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, Chairpersons of provincial-level People’s Committees, and related organisations and individuals shall implement this Decree.-
