Decree 202/2026/ND-CP amending Decree 10/2022/ND-CP on registration fee

DECREE

Amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 10/2022/ND-CP dated January 15, 2022, on registration fee

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government, No. 63/2025/QH15;

Pursuant to the Law on Charges and Fees No. 97/2015/QH13;

At the proposal of the Minister of Finance;

The Government hereby promulgates the Decree amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 10/2022/ND-CP dated January 15, 2022, on registration fee.

Article 1. To amend and supplement Point c, Clause 5, Article 8 of the Government’s Decree No. 10/2022/ND-CP dated January 15, 2022, on registration fee, as follows:

“c) For battery-powered electric automobiles: From the effective date of this Decree to the end of December 31, 2030: The first-time registration fee is 0%. The classification of battery-powered electric automobiles shall comply with the Minister of Construction’s regulations”.

Article 2. To remove the phrase “(amended and supplemented under Article 1 of the Government’s Decree No. 51/2025/ND-CP dated March 01, 2025)” in Clause 8, Article 1 the Government’s Decree No. 175/2025/ND-CP dated June 3, 2025, amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 10/2022/ND-CP dated January 15, 2022, on registration fee.

Article 3. Effect

1. This Decree takes effect from March 01, 2027, and replaces the Government’s Decree No. 51/2025/ND-CP dated March 01, 2025, amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 10/2022/ND-CP dated January 15, 2022, on registration fee

2. Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-attached agencies, chairpersons of provincial-level People’s Committees and related organizations and individuals shall implement this Decree.
