DECISION

On adjusting the average electricity retail price and providing for electricity retail prices

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 98/2017/ND-CP dated August 18, 2017, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Pursuant to the Electricity Law dated December 03, 2004 and the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Electricity Law dated November 20, 2012;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 137/2013/ND-CP dated October 21, 2013, detailing a number of articles of the Electricity Law and the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Electricity Law;

Pursuant to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 28/2014/QD-TTg dated April 07, 2014, on structure of electricity retail tariff;

Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 24/2017/QD-TTg dated June 30, 2017, on mechanism for adjustment of average electricity retail price;

Pursuant to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 34/2017/QD-TTg dated July 25, 2017, on the average electricity retail price frame in the 2016-2020 period;

Pursuant to the Minister of Industry and Trade’s Circular No. 16/2014/TT-BCT dated May 29, 2014, on implementation of electricity prices; Circular No. 25/2018/TT-BCT dated September 12, 2018, amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Minister of Industry and Trade’s Circular No. 16/2014/TT-BCT dated May 29, 2014, on implementation of electricity prices;

At the proposal of the Director of the Electricity Regulatory Authority in the Report No. 20/TTr- DTDL dated March 19, 2019,

DECIDES:

Article 1.

1. The average electricity retail price is VND 1,864.44/kWh (exclusive of value-added tax).

2. The electricity retail prices applicable to groups of electricity customers and electricity prices applicable to electricity-retailing units are provided in the Appendix to this Decision. Electricity prices provided in the Appendix to this Decision are exclusive of value-added tax.

3. Time for applying the electricity prices: From March 20, 2019.

Article 2. Chief of the Ministry Office, Director of the Electricity Regulatory Authority, General Director of Vietnam Electricity, relevant organizations and individuals shall implement this Decision./.
