Decision No. 24/2003/QD-BTC dated March 1, 2003 of the Ministry of Finance annulling the provisions on price difference collection rates applicable to a number of import steel items

DECISION

ANNULLING THE PROVISIONS ON PRICE DIFFERENCE COLLECTION RATES APPLICABLE TO A NUMBER OF IMPORT STEEL ITEMS

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 86/2002/ND-CP of November 5, 2002 prescribing the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 178/CP of October 28, 1994 on the tasks, powers and organizational apparatus of the Ministry of Finance;

Pursuant to Article 1 of the Government’s Decree No. 94/1998/ND-CP of November 17, 1998 detailing the implementation of the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of May 20, 1998 Law No. 04/1998/QH10 on Import Tax and Export Tax;

Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 46/2001/QD-TTg of April 4, 2001 on the management of goods import and export in the 2001-2005 period;

Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s directing opinions in Official Dispatch No. 17/CP-KTTH of March 1, 2003 on the administration of iron and steel market,

DECIDES:

Article 1.- To annul the price difference collection rates for a number of import steel items prescribed in the Finance Minister’s Decision No. 35/2001/QD-BTC of April 18, 2001 stipulating the price difference collection rates applicable to a number of import goods items (the list of goods items eligible for the annulment of price difference collection rates is specified in the appendix to this Decision).

Article 2.- This Decision takes effect and applies to all import goods declarations already submitted to the customs offices as from March 1, 2003.
