DECISION

ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE PEOPLE-FUNDED TECHNOLOGICAL AND TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF HO CHI MINH CITY

THE PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government on the 30th of September 1992;

Pursuant to Decree No. 15-CP on the 2nd of March 1993 on the tasks, powers and responsibilities for State management of the Ministries and ministerial-level Agencies;

At the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training (No.1475-TCCB on the 17th of March 1995),

DECIDES :

Article 1.- To allow the establishment of the People-Funded Technological and Technical University of Ho Chi Minh City.

Article 2.- The People-Funded Technological and Technical University of Ho Chi Minh City is a higher education training institution placed under the State management of the Ministry of Education and Training. It has the legal person status, its own seal and bank accounts.

The system of diplomas issued by the People-Funded Technological and Technical University of Ho Chi Minh City belongs to the system of national diplomas.

Article 3.- The People-Funded Technological and Technical University of Ho Chi Minh City operates according to law, the Regulation on People-Funded Universities, and its own Statute issued by the Minister of Education and Training.

Article 4.- The Minister of Education and Training, the other Ministers and the Heads of the ministerial-level agencies, the Heads of the agencies attached to the Government, the Presidents of the People's Committees of the concerned provinces and cities directly under the Central Government, are responsible for the implementation of this Decision.
