DECISION
Promulgating the List of high technologies prioritized for development investment and List of hi-tech products eligible for development promotion
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government No. 63/2025/QH15;
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of Local Administration No. 72/2025/QH15;
Pursuant to the Law on High Technologies No. 133/2025/QH15;
At the proposal of the Minister of Science and Technology in Report No. 75/TTr-BKHCN dated April 29, 2026;
The Prime Minister hereby promulgates the Decision promulgating the List of high technologies prioritized for development investment and List of hi-tech products eligible for development promotion.
Article 1. To promulgate together with this Decision the List of high technologies prioritized for development investment and List of hi-tech products eligible for development promotion.
Article 2. Based on the socio-economic development, and written directions of competent authorities, the Ministry of Science and Technology shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies in, reviewing and assessing periodically, and submitting to the Prime Minister for promulgating and updating the List of high technologies prioritized for development investment and List of hi-tech products eligible for development promotion.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect from July 01, 2026, and replaces the Prime Minister's Decision No. 38/2020/QD-TTg dated December 30, 2020, promulgating the List of high technologies prioritized for development investment and List of hi-tech products eligible for development promotion.
Organizations that have been granted with certificates or written recognitions for high technologies and hi-tech products in the List promulgated to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 38/2020/QD-TTg dated December 30, 2020, may continue to apply such List until the expiry date stated on the granted certificates or recognitions.
Article 4. Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, and Chairpersons of Peoples Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities shall implement this Decision./.
