DECISION

On promulgating the electricity generation price bracket applicable to transitional solar power plants and wind power plants

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

Pursuant to the Electricity Law dated December 03, 2004, and the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Electricity Law dated November 11, 2012;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 96/2022ND-CP dated November 29, 2022, on defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 137/2013/ND-CP dated October 21, 2013, on detailing a number of articles of the Electricity Law and the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Electricity Law;

Pursuant to the Minister of Industry and Trade’s Circular No. 15/2022/TT-BCT dated October 03, 2022, promulgating the method of building the electricity generation price bracket applicable to transitional solar power plants and wind power plants;

At the proposal of the Director of the Electricity Regulatory Authority.

DECIDES:

Article 1. To promulgate the electricity generation price bracket applicable to transitional solar power plants and wind power plants as prescribed at Point b Clause 2 Article 1 of the Minister of Industry and Trade’s Circular No. 15/2022/TT-BCT dated October 03, 2022, promulgating the method of building the electricity generation price bracket applicable to transitional solar power plants and wind power plants.

Article 2. Vietnam Electricity, transitional solar power and wind power generation units specified at Point b Clause 2 Article 1 of Circular No. 15/2022/TT-BCT shall, based on the electricity generation price bracket prescribed in Article 1 of this Decision, negotiate electricity generation prices according to regulations.

Article 3. Effect

1. This Decision takes effect on the date of its signing.

2. The Chief of the Ministry office, the Director of the Electricity Regulatory Authority, the Director of the Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority, the Chief of the Ministry Inspectorate, the General Director of Vietnam Electricity and directors of solar power and  wind power plants specified in Article 1 shall implement this Decision./.
