DECISION

ANNULLING THE LEVELS OF FEES FOR QUOTAS OF A NUMBER OF TEXTILE AND GARMENT PRODUCTS TO BE EXPORTED TO THE EU AND CANADIAN MARKETS

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 15/CP of March 2, 1993 on the tasks, powers and State management responsibilities of the ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 178/CP of October 28, 1994 on the tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 04/1999/ND-CP of January 30, 1999 on charges and fees belonging to the State budget;
After consulting the ministries of Trade, Planning and Investment, and Industry (Official Dispatch No. 3611/TM-XNK of October 13, 2000);
At the proposal of General Director of Tax,

DECIDES:

Article 1.- To annul the levels of fees for quotas of textiles and garments to be exported to the EU and Canadian markets, prescribed in the Ministry of Finance’s Decision No. 99/1999/QD-BTC of August 27, 1999, for the following commodity items:

1. Cotton towels (cat.9)

2. Underwear (cat. 13)

3. Men’s coats (cat. 14)

4. Pyjamas (cat. 18)

5. Bed sheets (cat. 20)

6. Jackets (cat. 21)

7. Women’s long dresses (cat. 26)

8. Knit pants (cat. 28)

9. Synthetic fabric (cat. 35)

10. Table cloths (cat. 39)

11. Synthetic fibers (cat. 41)

12. Children’s clothings (cat. 68)

13. Labor protection clothes (cat. 76)

14. Fiber nets (cat. 97)

15. Flax table cloths (cat. 118)

16. Clothes made of coarse fabric (cat. 161)

Article 2.- This Decision takes effect as from January 1, 2001.

Article 3.- Organizations and individuals liable to pay fees and the concerned agencies shall have to implement this Decision.
