Decision No. 1453/QD-TTg 2020 adjusting Master Plan on development of coastal economic zones

DECISION

Adjusting and supplementing the Master Plan on development of Vietnam’s coastal economic zones by 2020^[1]

THE PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the June 19, 2015 Law on Organization of the Government and the November 22, 2019 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Organization of the Government and the Law on Organization of Local Administration;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 82/2018/ND-CP of May 22, 2018, prescribing the management of industrial parks and economic zones;

Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s documents approving the addition of coastal economic zones to the Master Plan on development of coastal economic zones by 2020;

At the proposal of the Minister of Planning and Investment,

DECIDES:

Article 1. To amend and supplement Decision No. 1353/QD-TTg of September 23, 2008

1. To add Quang Yen coastal economic zone (Quang Ninh province), Quang Tri Southeast economic zone (Quang Tri province), Thai Binh coastal economic zone (Thai Binh province) and Ninh Co economic zone (Nam Dinh province) to the Master Plan on development of Vietnam’s coastal economic zones by 2020 in accordance with Point a, Clause 4, Article 1 of the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 1353/QD-TTg of September 23, 2008, approving the Scheme on the Master Plan on development of Vietnam’s coastal economic zones by 2020.

2. The time for adding the Quang Tri Southeast economic zone (Quang Tri province), Thai Binh coastal economic zone (Thai Binh province) and Ninh Co economic zone (Nam Dinh province) to the system of economic zones must comply with the Prime Minister’s Document No. 663/TTg-KTTH of May 13, 2013.

3. The time for adding the Quang Yen coastal economic zone (Quang Ninh province) to the system of economic zones must comply with the Prime Minister’s Document No. 604/TTg-CN of May 22, 2020.

Article 2. Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-attached agencies and chairpersons of provincial-level People’s Committees shall implement this Decision.-
