DECISION

ON RECOGNIZATION OF NATIONAL PRECIOUS OBJECTS

THE PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Government organization, of December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Law on Cultural Heritages, of June 29, 2001 and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of Law on Cultural Heritages, of June 18, 2009;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No.98/2010/ND-CP, of September 21, 2010 detailing the implementation of a number of articles of Law on Cultural Heritages, and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of Law on Cultural Heritages;

At the proposal of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the report No.129/TTr-BVHTTDL, of July 06, 2012; the appraisal opinion of the Council of National Cultural Heritages in the official dispatch No.06/BC-HDDSVHQG, of March 02, 2012,

DECIDES:

Article 1. To recognize the national precious objects (time 1) for the following objects, object groups:

1.Ngoc Lu ancient bronze drum (Dong Son culture, currently being kept at the National History Museum).

2.Hoang Ha ancient bronze drum (Dong Son culture, currently being kept at the National History Museum).

3.Dao Thinh ancient bronze jar (Dong Son culture, currently being kept at the National History Museum).

4.Thebronze statue of a piggybacking and panpipe-playing couple (Dong Son culture, currently being kept at the National History Museum).

5.The bronze lamp shaped as a kneeling man (Dong Son culture, currently being kept at the National History Museum).

6.Canh Thinh ancient bronze drum (Tay Son era, currently being kept at the National History Museum).

7.Bronze royal stamp “official seal” (Tran dynasty, currently being kept at the National History Museum).

8.Pottery jar with swan patterns (Le dynasty, currently being kept at the National History Museum).

9.“Revolutionary Road” book (a work of President Ho Chi Minh, currently being kept at the National History Museum).

10.“Prison Diary” book (a work of President Ho Chi Minh, currently being kept at the National History Museum).

11.A draft of the “Call on the whole nation to carry out the resistance war” (a handwritten draft of president Ho Chi Minh, currently being kept at the National History Museum).

12.A draft of the “Call on fellow citizens and soldier of whole nation” (a written was read on the Vietnam radio by president Ho Chi Minh on the morning of July 17, 1966, currently being kept at theHo Chi MinhMuseum).

13.The will of president Ho Chi Minh (the original was written by Uncle Ho from May 10, 1965 to May 19, 1969, currently being kept at the Archive Department of Central Party Office).

14.Dong Duong Buddhist statue (Champa Culture, currently being kept at the Ho Chi Minh History Museum).

15.Devi Goddess statue (cinnamon) (Champa Culture, currently being kept at the Ho Chi Minh History Museum).

16.God Vishnu statue (Oc Eo Culture, currently being kept at the Ho Chi Minh History Museum).

17.Loi My Buddha Statue (Oc Eo Culture, currently being kept at the Ho Chi Minh History Museum).

18.God Surya statue (Oc Eo Culture, currently being kept at the Ho Chi Minh History Museum).

19.Tara Bodhisattva statue (Champa Culture, currently being kept at the Champa Sculpture Art Museum, in Danang city).

20.My Son E1 altar (Champa Culture, currently being kept at the Champa Sculpture Art Museum, in Danang city).

21.Tra Kieu altar (Champa Culture, currently being kept at the Champa Sculpture Art Museum, in Danang city).

22.Buddha Amitabha Statue (Ly dynasty, currently being kept at the Phat Tich pagoda, Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province).

23.Statue of Buddha with a thousand eyes and hands (Le Trung Hung dynasty, currently being kept at the But Thap pagoda, Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province).

24.The set of nine bronze cannons (Nguyen dynasty, currently being kept at the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum managed by the Center for Hue Monuments Conservation).

25.The Nine Tripod Cauldrons (Nguyen dynasty, currently being kept at the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum managed by the Center for Hue Monuments Conservation).

26.A 37mm anti-aircraft gun(air-defence gunof the Vietnamese People s Army in the historical Battle of Dien Bien Phu in 1954, currently being kept at the Air-Defence and Air Force Museum).

27.A MiG 21 F96 aircraft, numbered 5121, (fighting aircraft of Vietnam People s Air Force in the historical battle of “Dien Bien Phu in the air”, currently being kept at the Vietnam Military History Museum).

28.A “Ho Chi Minh Campaign”notebook (notebook recording fighting situation of the Ho Chi Minh Offensive from April 25 to May 1, 1975, currently being kept at the Military Zone 7 Museum).

29.A T54 tank numbered 843(used in the Ho Chi Minh Offensive, march into the Doc Lap palace on midday of April 30, 1975, currently kept at the Vietnam Military History Museum).

30.A T59 tank numbered 390 (used in the Ho Chi Minh Offensive, march into the Doc Lap palace on midday of April 30, 1975, currently kept at the Tank armour Museum).

Article 2.The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Presidents of the People’s Committee at all levels where possessing national precious objects, heads of Ministries, sectors, heads of organizations being assigned to manage the national precious objects recognized in Article 1 of this Decision within their scope of tasks and powers shall implement management for national precious objects as prescribed by law on Cultural Heritages.

Article 3.This decision takes effect in the day of signing.

Article 4.The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Presidents of the People’s Committee at all levels where possessing national precious objects, heads of Ministries, sectors, heads of organizations being assigned to manage the national precious objects recognized in Article 1 shall implement this Decision.
