Decision No. 1279/QD-TTg dated July 28, 2011 of the Prime Minister promulgating the establishment of the Middle University of Civil Engineering

Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated December December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Law on Education dated June 14, 2005 and Law on amending and supplementing some Articles of the Law on Education dated November 25, 2009;

Pursuant to the Decision No. 121/2007/QD-TTg dated July 27, 2007 of the Prime Minister approving the Planning on university and collage network in the period 2006 – 2020;

Pursuant to the Decision No. 07/2009/QD-TTg dated January 15, 2009 of the Prime Minister promulgating the conditions and procedures for establishment, operation suspension, merger, division, separation and dissolution of universities;

At the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training at the Statement No. 371/TTr-BGDDT dated July 05, 2011 promulgating the establishment of the Middle University of Civil Engineering,

DECIDES:

Article 1. To establish the Middle University of Civil Engineering basing on upgrading the Construction Technical College No. 3.

Headquarter: Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province

Article 2. The Middle University of Civil Engineering is the public university place, directly under the Ministry of Construction, has legal status, private seal and account.

Article 3. The Middle University of Civil Engineering shall operate in accordance with university charter issued with the Decision No. 58/2011/QD-TTg dated September 22, 2010 of the Prime Minister and the Decision No. 07/2009/QD-TTg dated January 15, 2009 of the Prime Minister promulgating the conditions and procedures for establishment, operation suspension, merger, division, separation and dissolution of universities;

Article 4. The Ministry of Education and Training will be responsible for investigating conditions of quality assurance before allowing to open university training courses and student enrollment.

Article 5. This Decision takes effect on the signing date.

Article 6. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-attached agencies, Presidents of the provincial/municipal People’s Committee and Principal of the Construction Technical College No. 3 shall implement this Decision ./.
