DECISION

ANNULLING THE PRIME MINISTER'S DECISION NO. 55/2001/QD-TTG OF APRIL 23, 2001

THE PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the December 25, 2001 Law on Organization of the Government;

Considering the proposal of the Industry Minister (in Official Letter No. 2875/BCN-TDTP of May 29, 2006), and the Trade Minister (in Official Letter No. 128/TM-DB of May 23, 2006),

DECIDES:

Article 1.- To annul the Prime Minister's Decision No. 55/2001/QD-TTg of April 23, 2004, approving the development strategy for Vietnam's garment and textile industry up to 2010 and a number of mechanisms and policies to support the implementation thereof.

Article 2.- This Decision takes effect from the date of its signing.

Article 3.- Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies and Government-attached agencies, presidents of provincial/municipal People's Committees, and the chairman of the Vietnam Textiles and Garments Association shall have to implement this Decision.
