DECISION
ON EXPANDING THE COMPETENCE OF VIETNAM INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATION CENTER IN SETTLING DISPUTES
THE PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government of September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to Decision No.204-TTg of April 28, 1993 of the Prime Minister on the organization of Vietnam International Arbitration Center;
At the proposal of the President of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
DECIDES:
Article 1.- To allow Vietnam International Arbitration Center to expand its competence in settling disputes arising from domestic business relations if the relevant parties agree to bring cases to the Vietnam International Arbitration Center for settlement.
Article 2.- To supplement the expansion of the competence of Vietnam International Arbitration Center in settling disputes in accordance with Article 1 of this Decision to its Organization Charter which was promulgated together with Decision No.204-TTg of April 28, 1993.
Article 3.- This Decision takes effect from the date of its signing. The earlier stipulations which are contrary to this Decision are now annuled.
Article 4.- The President of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministers, the Heads of the ministerial-level agencies, the Heads of the agencies attached to the Government, the Presidents of the People’s Committees of the provinces and cities directly under the Central Government shall have to implement this Decision.
