DECISION

PROMULGATING VIETNAMESE STANDARDS

THE MINISTER OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 22/CP of May 22, 1993 on the tasks, powers and organizational apparatus of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (now the Ministry of Science and Technology);

Pursuant to the Ordinance on Goods Quality of December 24, 1999;

At the proposal of the General Director of Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control,

DECIDES:

Article 1.- To promulgate the following 8 Vietnamese standards:

1. TCVN 7232: 2003 - Motorcycles, mopeds - Exhaust pipe - Technical requirements and testing methods.

2. TCVN 7233: 2003 - Motorcycles, mopeds - Spoke - Technical requirements and testing methods.

3. TCVN 7234: 2003 - Motorcycles, mopeds - Steel rim - Technical requirements and testing methods.

4. TCVN 7235: 2003 - Motorcycles, mopeds - Foot brake lever - Technical requirements and testing methods.

5. TCVN 7236: 2003 - Motorcycles, mopeds - Hand brake lever - Technical requirements and testing methods.

6. TCVN 7237: 2003 - Motorcycles, mopeds - Brake cable, throttle cables, clutch cable - Technical requirements and testing methods.

7. TCVN 7238: 2003 - Motorcycles and motorized two-wheelers - Frame - Technical requirements and testing methods.

8. TCVN 7239: 2003 - Motorcycles and motorized two-wheelers - General safety requirements and testing methods.

Article 2.- This Decision takes implementation effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
