Decision No. 05/2006/QD-BTM dated January 25, 2006 of the Ministry of Trade authorizing some tasks to the Management Board of Lao Bao special economic-trade zone

DECISION

AUTHORIZING SOME TASKS TO THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF LAO BAO SPECIAL ECONOMIC-TRADE ZONE

THE MINISTER OF TRADE

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 29/2004/ND-CP of January 16, 2004, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Trade;

Pursuant to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 11/2005/QD-TTg of January 12, 2005, promulgating the Regulation on Lao Bao Special Economic-Trade Zone, Quang Tri province, and the Trade Ministry's Circular No. 10/2005/TT-BTM of May 16, 2005, guiding some matters related to commercial activities defined in the Regulation on Lao Bao Special Economic-Trade Zone, Quang Tri province, issued together with the said Decision;

Pursuant to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 130/2005/QD-TTg of June 2, 2005, on the establishment of the Management Board of Lao Bao Special Economic-Trade Zone, Quang Tri province;

At the proposal of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province on authorizing some tasks to the Management Board of Lao Bao Special Economic-Trade Zone,

DECIDES:

Article 1.- To authorize the Management Board of Lao Bao Special Economic-Trade Zone to perform the following tasks:

1. To grant certificates of origin, form D and form S, to enterprises located in Lao Bao Special Economic-Trade Zone.

2. To grant, modify, supplement and withdraw permits for setting up foreign traders' branches to conduct commercial activities in Lao Bao Special Economic-Trade Zone.

Article 2.- The Management Board of Lao Bao Special Economic-Trade Zone shall perform the tasks defined in Article 1 according to current provisions of Vietnamese law (relevant legal documents are listed in the Appendix enclosed herewith) and report the performance of the said tasks to the Ministry of Trade no later than January 15 every year.

Article 3.- This Decision takes effect 15 days after its publication in "CONG BAO."
