DECISION

ISSUING THE BRANCHS 04 STANDARDS ON THE PAPER AND CARDBOARD PRODUCTS

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY

Pursuant to Decree No. 74/CP of November 1st, 1995 of the Government on the tasks, functions, powers and organizational structure of the Industry Ministry;

Pursuant to Decree No. 141/HDBT of August 24, 1982 of the Council of Ministers (now the Government) issuing the Regulation on standardization;

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/CP of December 8, 1995 of the Government on assignment of responsibilities for the State management over the quality of goods;

At the proposal of the Head of the Department for Technology and Product Quality Management,

DECIDES:

Article 1.- To issued together with this Decision the branchs 04 standards on the paper and cardboard products domestically produced and consumed, including:

24TCN 72-99 Surface cardboard of corrugated cardboard;

24TCN 73-99 Corrugated paper of corrugated cardboard;

24TCN 74-99 Flat cardboard between corrugated cardboard;

24TCN 75-99 Duplex cardboard.

These standards were issued in the forms of guidance and application promotion, and they take effect as from February 1, 1999.

Article 2.- The Head of the Department for Technology and Product Quality Management shall have to guide the implementation of this Decision.

Article 3.- The director of the Ministrys Office, the heads of Functional Departments, the President of Vietnam Paper Association, the general director of the Vietnam Paper Corporation and the paper manufacturing enterprises throughout the country shall have to implement this Decision.
