CIRCULAR

Repealing the Minister of Industry and Trade's Circular No. 43/2012/TT-BCT dated December 27, 2012, providing the management of planning, investment in the construction of hydropower projects, and operation of hydropower works

Pursuant to the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents dated June 22, 2015, and the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents dated June 18, 2020;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 34/2016/ND-CP dated May 14, 2016, detailing a number of articles of, and providing measures for implementing, the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents and the Government’s Decree No. 154/2020/ND-CP dated December 31, 2020, amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 34/2016/ND-CP of May 14, 2016, detailing a number of articles of, and providing measures for implementing, the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 96/2022/ND-CP dated November 29, 2022, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

At the proposal of the Director of the Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority;

The Minister of Industry and Trade hereby promulgates the Circular repealing the Minister of Industry and Trade's Circular No. 43/2012/TT-BCT dated December 27, 2012, providing the management of planning, investment in the construction of hydropower projects, and operation of hydropower works.

Article 1. To repeal the Minister of Industry and Trade's Circular No. 43/2012/TT-BCT dated December 27, 2012, providing the management of planning, investment in the construction of hydropower projects, and operation of hydropower works.

Article 2. Effect

This Circular takes effect from August 1, 2023.

Article 3. Implementation organization

Chief of the Ministry Office, Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Director of the Department of Legal Affairs, Director of the Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority, Director of the Industrial Safety Techniques and Environment Agency, Director of the Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam; People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities, concerned organizations, agencies and individuals shall implement this Circular./.
