Circular 17/2025/TT-BGDDT amending Circular 32/2018/TT-BGDDT on General Education Curriculum

CIRCULAR

Amending and supplementing a number of contents of the General Education Curriculum issued together with the Minister of Education and Training's Circular No. 32/2018/TT-BGDDT dated December 26, 2018

Pursuant to the Education Law No. 43/2019/QH14;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 37/2025/ND-CP dated February 26, 2025, defining functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to the appraisal minutes of the Appraisal Council for the revised curricula of the following subjects: History and Geography, History, Geography, and Civic Education;

At the proposal of the Director of the General Education Department;

The Minister of Education and Training hereby promulgates the Circular amending and supplementing a number of contents of the General Education Curriculum issued together with the Minister of Education and Training's Circular No. 32/2018/TT-BGDDT dated December 26, 2018.

Article 1. Amending and supplementing a number of contents of the General Education Curriculum issued together with the Minister of Education and Training's Circular No. 32/2018/TT-BGDDT dated December 26, 2018, which was amended and supplemented under the Minister of Education and Training's Circular No. 20/2021/TT-BGDDT dated July 01, 2021, and Circular No. 13/2022/TT-BGDDT dated August 03, 2022

1. To amend and supplement the General Education Curriculum of the History and Geography subject at primary education level (Appendix I to this Circular).

2. To amend and supplement the General Education Curriculum of the History and Geography subject at lower secondary education level (Appendix II to this Circular).

3. To amend and supplement the General Education Curriculum of the History - Grade 10 (Appendix III to this Circular).

4. To amend and supplement the General Education Curriculum of the Geography subject (Appendix IV to this Circular).

5. To amend and supplement the General Education Curriculum of the Civic Education subject (Appendix V to this Circular).

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from September 12, 2025.

Article 3. The Chief of Office, Director of the General Education Department, Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training; Chairperson of People's committees of provinces and centrally-run cities; Directors of provincial-level Departments of Education and Training, and relevant organizations and individuals shall implement this Circular./.
