FOREIGNERS’FEE FOR TEMPORARY RESIDENCE CARDS INCREASED BY 20 USD
On November 09, 2012, the Ministry of Finance issued the Circular No. 190/2012/TT-BTC amending and supplementing the Circular No.66/2009/TT-BTC, of March 30, 2009 of the Ministry of Finance stipulating the regime on collection, remittance, management and use of fees on passports, visas and papers on entry, exit, transit and residence in Vietnam.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Finance decided to raise the fee level for granting visas, temporary residence cards for foreigners resident in Vietnam. Of which, the fees for granting temporary residence cards increase by 20$. Specifically, the fee for granting the card that is valid up to 1 year is 80$; valid for between over 1 year and 2 years is 100 $; Valid for between over 2 year and 3 years is 120$ ( the previous regulation is 60, 80, 100 $ respectively).
Besides, the fee for granting visas is also amended to increase 2 times, specifically, the fee for single-entry visas is 45$ ( the previous regulation is 25$); visas that is valid for less than 01 month is 65$; Valid for less than 06 months is 95 $ (the previous regulation is 50$)…
The other content relating to fees on passports, visas and papers on entry, exit, transit and residence in Vietnam shall be implemented under provisions in the Circular No.66/2009/TT-BTC, of which, the fee level for newly granting is 200,000 VND, re-granting is 400,000 VND, fee for extension is 100,000 VND….
This Circular shall take effect on January 01, 2013.
