SUMMARY

To import 62,053 tons of raw tobacco under the tariff quota for 2021

On December 04, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade promulgates the Circular No. 43/2020/TT-BCT prescribing the import of raw tobacco under the tariff quota for 2021.

For 2021, the volume of raw tobacco (HS code 2401) imported under the tariff quota is 62,053 tons. The allocation of tariff quotas on imported raw tobacco must comply with regulations.

This Circular takes effect from January 18, 2021, until the end of December 31, 2021.

CIRCULAR

Prescribing the import of raw tobacco under the tariff quota for 2021

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 98/2017/ND-CP of August 18, 2017, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP of May 15, 2018 on detailing a number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management;

At the proposal of the Director of the Agency of Foreign Trade,

The Minister of Industry and Trade promulgates the Circular prescribing the import of raw tobacco under the tariff quota for 2021.

 

              Article 1. Import tariff quotas of 2021

The volume of raw tobacco (HS code 2401) imported under the tariff quota for 2021 is 62,053 tons.

              Article 2. Subjects and method of allocating import tariff quotas

The allocation of tariff quotas on imported raw tobacco must comply with the Government’s Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP of May 15, 2018, detailing a number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Circular No. 12/2018/TT-BCT of June 15, 2018, detailing a number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management and the Government’s Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP of May 15, 2018, detailing a number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management.

              Article 3. Effect

This Circular takes effect from January 18, 2021, until the end of December 31, 2021./.
