Circular 36/2020/TT-BTC fees for granting license for exploring, exploiting and using water

CIRCULAR

On prescribing the collection and remittance rate of granting license for exploring, exploiting and using water resource; discharging wastewater in to the water source and performing groundwater exploitation by the state agencies and charge of exploiting and using hydro meteorological information and data

Pursuant to the November 25, 2015 Law on Charges and Fees;

Pursuant to the Decree No. 87/2017/ND-CP dated July 26, 2017 of the Government on defining functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Tax Policy;

The Minister of Finance hereby promulgates the Circular on prescribing the collection and remittance rate of granting license for exploring, exploiting and using water resource; discharging wastewater in to the water source and performing groundwater exploitation by the state agencies and charge of exploiting and using hydro meteorological information and data.

Article 1. Collection and remittance rate of granting license for exploring, exploiting and using water resource; discharging wastewater in to the water source and performing groundwater exploitation by the state agencies

Agencies, organizations, individuals (including households) when apply the appraisal dossier for granting the license for exploring groundwater; grating license for using surface water; granting license for exploiting and using the groundwater; granting license for using seawater; granting license for discharging wastewater in to the water source and performing groundwater exploitation by the state agencies shall:

1. From May 05 to the end of December 31, 2020, pay the charge equal to 80% the charge rate prescribed in the Charge table attached to the Circular No. 270/2016/TT-BCT dated November 14, 2016 of the Minister of Finance on prescribing the collection and remittance rate of granting license for exploring, exploiting and using water resource; discharging wastewater in to the water source and performing groundwater exploitation by the state agencies (hereinafter referred to as the Circular No. 270/2016/TT-BCT).

During the effective time of this Circular, the charge rate on appraising for granting license of exploring, exploiting and using water resource; discharging wastewater in to the water source and performing groundwater exploitation as prescribed in the Charge table attached to Circular No. 270/2016/TT-BCT shall not apply.
