Circular 35/2020/TT-BTC fees for grant of international tour operator licenses

CIRCULAR

Prescribing the rates and the remittance of appraisal charges for grant of international tour operator licenses or domestic travel service business licenses; appraisal charges for grant of tour guide’s cards

Pursuant to the Law on Charges and Fees dated November 25, 2015;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 87/2017/ND-CP dated July 26, 2017 on defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;

At the proposal of the Director of the Tax Policy Department;

The Minister of Finance hereby promulgates the Circular on prescribing the rates and the remittance of appraisal charges for grant of international tour operator licenses or domestic travel service business licenses; appraisal charges for grant of tour guide’s cards.

Article 1. The appraisal charge for the grant of international tour operator licenses or domestic tour operator licenses; appraisal charges for grant of tour guide’s cards

Organizations and individuals that submit dossiers requesting state management agencies in charge of tourism to grant international tour operator licenses, domestic tour operator licenses or tour guide cards shall pay a charge as follows:

1. From May 05, 2020 until the end of December 31, 2020, the charge rate is equal 50% of the charge rate as prescribed in Clauses 1 and 2, Article 4 of the Circular No. 33/2018/TT-BTC dated March 30, 2018 of the Minister of Finance on prescribing the rates and the collection, remittance and management of appraisal charges for grant of international tour operator licenses or domestic travel service business licenses; appraisal charges for grant of tour guide’s cards; and fees for grant of licenses for establishment of Vietnam-based  representative offices of foreign travel service business enterprises (hereinafter referred to as the Circular No. 33/2018/TT-BTC).

During the effective time of this Circular, the appraisal charge for the grant of international tour operator licenses or domestic tour operator licenses and appraisal charges for grant of tour guide’s cards specified in Clauses 1 and 2, Article 4 of the Circular No. 33/2018/TT-BTC shall not be applied.

2. From January 01, 2021, the appraisal charge for the grant of international tour operator licenses or domestic tour operator licenses and appraisal charges for grant of tour guide’s cards specified in Clauses 1 and 2, Article 4 of the Circular No. 33/2018/TT-BTC shall be applied.

Article 2. Effect

1. This Decree takes effect from May 05, 2020 until the end of December 31, 2020.

2. Provisions on scope of regulations and subjects of application, collection organization, charge rates, declaration, remittance of charge and other related regulations that are not prescribed in this Circular shall comply with the Circular No. 33/2018/TT-BTC.

3. Any problem arising in the course of implementation should be promptly reported to the Ministry of Finance for consideration and additional guidance./.
