Circular No. 32/2011/TT-BCT dated September 05, 2011 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade amending and supplementing the Circular No. 24/2010/TT-BCT dated May 28, 2010 on the application of regulations on automatic import licensing to a number of goods items

Circular No. 32/2011/TT-BCT of September 5, 2011, amending and supplementing Circular No. 24/2010/TT-BCT of May 28, 2010, on the application of regulations on automatic import licensing to a number of goods items

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 189/2007/ND-CP of December 27, 2007, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 44/2011/ND-CP of June 14, 2011, amending and supplementing the Government’s Decree No. 189/2007/ND-CP of December 27, 2007, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 12/2006/ND-CP of January 23, 2006, detailing the implementation of the Commercial Law regarding international goods trading and goods trading agency, processing and transit with foreign parties;

Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 41/2005/QD-TTg of March 2, 2005, promulgating the Regulation on goods import licensing;

The Minister of Industry and Trade amends and supplements Circular No. 24/2010/TT-BCT of May 28, 2010, on the application of regulations on automatic import licensing to a number of goods items as follows:

Article 1. To amend and supplement Article 1 of Circular No. 24/2010/TT-BCT

Regulations on automatic import licensing will not apply to line telephone sets with cordless handsets under HS sub-heading 8517.11.00.00 and cell phones or telephones used for other wireless networks under HS sub-heading 8517.12.00.00 in Chapter 85 of the list specified in Appendix No. 1 to the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Circular No. 24/2010/TT-BCT of May 28, 2010, on the application of regulations on automatic import licensing to a number of goods items.

Article 2. Implementation provisions

The import licensing to cell phones shall comply with the Ministry of Information and Communications’ Circular No. 14/2011/TT-BTTTT of June 7, 2011, detailing the Government’s Decree No. 12/2006/ND-CP of January 23, 2006, for goods subject to the management of the Ministry of Information and Communications.-

Article 3. Effect

This Circular takes effect on October 10, 2011.-
