CIRCULAR
Promulgating the List of key information technology products[1]
Pursuant to the June 29, 2006 Law on Information Technology;
Pursuant to the November 23, 2009 Law on Radio Frequencies;
Pursuant to the November 23, 2009 Law on Telecommunications;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 71/2007/ND-CP of May 3, 2007, detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Information Technology regarding information technology industry;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 17/2017/ND-CP of February 17, 2017, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Information and Communications;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Information Technology,
The Minister of Information and Communications promulgates the Circular promulgating the List of key information technology products.
Article 1. To promulgate together with this Circular the List of key information technology products (below referred to as the List).
Based on management requirements and development situation in each period, the Ministry of Information and Communications shall review, amend and supplement the List.
Article 2. Transitional provisions
Projects on investment and production of key information technology products specified in the Minister of Information and Communications’ Circular No. 01/2017/TT-BTTTT of February 16, 2017, which have enjoyed incentives and priorities before the effective date of this Circular will further enjoy the incentives and priorities for investment in research and development and production until these incentives and priorities expire in accordance with law.
Article 3. Implementation provisions
1. This Circular takes effect on February 2, 2022.
2. The Minister of Information and Communications’ Circular No. 01/2017/TT-BTTTT February 16, 2017, promulgating the List of key information technology products, ceases to be effective on the effective date of this Circular.
3. The Chief of the Office, Director of the Department of Information Technology, and heads of agencies and units under the Ministry of Information and Communications, and related organizations and individuals shall implement this Circular.
Any problems arising in the course of implementation of this Circular should be reported to the Ministry of Information and Communications for prompt guidance and settlement.-
