CIRCULAR

Repealing a number of legal normative documents defining methods of determination of localization rates of automobiles promulgated by the Minister of Science and Technology

            Pursuant to the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents dated June 22, 2015;

            Pursuant to the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents dated June 18, 2020;

            Pursuant to the Decree No. 116/2017/ND-CP dated October 17, 2017 of the Government on prescribing the conditions for manufacture, assembly and import of automobiles and provision of automobile warranty and maintenance services;

            Pursuant to the Decree No. 57/2020/ND-CP dated May 25, 2020 of the Government on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 122/2016/ND-CP dated September 01, 2016, on the Export Tariff, the Preferential Import Tariff and the list of commodity items and their specific duty rates, compound duty rates and out-of-quota import duty rates, and Decree No. 125/2017/ND-CP dated November 16, 2017, amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 122/2016/ND-CP;

            Pursuant to the Decree No. 95/2017/ND-CP dated August 16, 2017 of the Government defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology;

            At the proposal of the Directors of Department of Technology Appraisal, Examination and Assessment, and Legal Affairs Department;

            The Minister of Science and Technology issues the Circular repealing a number of legal normative documents defining methods of determination of localization rates of automobiles promulgated by the Minister of Science and Technology.

Article 1. Repealing legal normative documents

To repeal the following legal normative documents:

1. Decision No. 28/2004/QD-BKHCN dated October 01, 2004 of the Minister of Science and Technology defining methods of determination of localization rates of automobiles;

2. Decision No. 05/2005/QD-BKHCN dated May 11, 2005 of the Minister of Science and Technology on amending and supplementing the Decision No. 28/2004/QD-BKHCN dated October 01, 2004 of the Minister of Science and Technology defining methods of determination of localization rates of automobiles;

3. Circular No. 05/2012/TT-BKHCN dated March 12, 2012 of the Minister of Science and Technology on amending and supplementing Article 1 of Decision No. 05/2005/QD-BKHCN dated May 11, 2005 of the Minister of Science and Technology on amending and supplementing the Decision No. 28/2004/QD-BKHCN dated October 01, 2004 defining methods of determination of localization rates of automobiles.

Article 2. Implementation provisions

This Circular takes effect on October 01, 2022./.
