THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS
Circular No. 09/2013/TT-BTTTT dated April 08, 2013 of the Ministry of Information and Communications issuing the list of software, hardware and electronic products
Pursuant to the Law on Information Technology dated June 19, 2006;
Pursuant to the No.71/2007/ND-CP of May 03, 2007 detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of The Law on information technology regarding information technology industry;
Pursuant to the Decree No. 187/2007/ND-CP dated December 25, 2007 of the Government defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Information and Communication and the Decree No. 50/2011/ND-CP dated June 24, 2011 of the Government amending the Decree No. 187/2007/ND-CP dated December 25, 2007 of the Government defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Information and Communications
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Information Technology;
The Minister of Information and Communications issues a Circular issuing the list of software, hardware and electronic products,
Article 1. Scope of regulation
This Circular issues the list of software, hardware, and electronic products (hereinafter called the list), including:
1. A list of software products in Appendix 01.
2. A list of hardware and electronic products in Appendix 02.
Article 2. Subjects of application
This Circular is applicable to organizations and individuals participating in information technology activities, the management, production, and sale of software, hardware and electronic products in Vietnam.
Article 3. List’s rules and purposes
1. The list is to establish a system of specialized products for the software, hardware, and electronic industry serving the business registration; investment, application of tax policies and incentive polices, export and import management, quality control, and other activities related to software, hardware, and electronic products
2. The Ministry of Information and Communications shall adjust the list to suit the management requirements based on the development of the market and the policies on information technology development in each period.
Article 4. Effectiveness
This Circular takes effect on May 23,2013.
Article 5. Implementation provisions
1. The Head of Information Technology Departments, Heads of units affiliated to the Ministry of Information and Communications, Directors of Information and Communications Departments, involved, enterprise, organizations and individuals stated in Article 2 shall implement this Circular.
2. Organizations and individuals are recommended to report the difficulties arising during the course of implementation to the Ministry of Information and Communications for amendments.
