SUMMARY

IN 2013, VOLUME OF RAW MATERIAL TOBACCO IMPORTED IS 42,000 TONS

On January 1, 2013, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued the Circular No. 02/2013/TT-BCT providing import of raw material tobacco imported according to the quota regime in 2013.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Industry and Trade determined the volume of raw material tobacco imported according to the quota regime is 42,000 tons. The traders shall be assigned quota for import of raw material tobacco as prescribed in the Circular No. 04/2006/TT-BTM of April 06, 2006 including enterprises having the license of producing tobacco issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and having the demand to use a specific rate of imported raw material tobacco for producing tobacco certified by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

This Circular takes effect from January 18, 2013 to December 31, 2013.

Circular No. 02/2013/TT-BCT dated January 18, 2013 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade promulgating the import of raw material tobacco which is imported in accordance with 2013 quota

Pursuant to the Decree No. 95/2012/ND-CP dated November 12, 2012 of the Government defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade

Pursuant to the Decree No. 12/2006/ND-CP dated January 23, 2006 of the Government making detailed provisions for implementation of the Commercial Law with respect to international purchases and sales of goods; and agency for sale and purchase, processing and transit of goods involving foreign parties

The Minister of Industry and Trade promulgating the import of raw material tobacco which is imported in accordance with 2013 quota as follows:

Article 1. The volume of raw material tobacco imported according to the customs quota

The volume of raw material tobacco imported according to the customs quota is 42,000 tons.

Article 2. The principle of licensing raw material tobacco import according to the customs quota

Traders shall be assigned quota for import of raw material tobacco as prescribed in the Circular No. Circular No. 04/2006/TT-BTM dated April 06, 2006 of the Ministry of Trade (now is the Ministry of Industry and Trade) providing guidelines for implementation of Decree 12/2006/ND-CP of the Government dated January 23, 2006 providing detailed regulations for implementation of the Commercial Law with respect to international purchases and sales of goods, agency for sale and purchase, processing and transit of goods involving foreign parties

Article 3. Effectiveness

This Circular takes effect from January 18, 2013 to December 31, 2013.
