Promulgating the Guidance on COVID-19 diagnosis and treatment

THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 75/2017/ND-CP dated June 20, 2017, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

Pursuant to the Government's Resolution No. 86/NQ-CP dated August 06, 2021, on urgent COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control measures to implement the Resolution No. 30/2021/QH15 dated July 28, 2021, of the 15^th National Assembly;

According to the opinions of the Professional Council for formulating documents, guidelines and regulations for the COVID-19 diagnosis and treatment, established under the Minister of Health's Decision No. 4026/QD-BYT dated August 20, 2021;

At the proposal of the Director of the Medical Services Administration - the Ministry of Health,

DECIDES:

Article 1. To promulgate together with this Decision the “Guidance on COVID-19 diagnosis and treatment”, replacing the “Guidance on diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 caused by new a strain of Coronavirus (SARS-Cov-2)” attached to the Minister of Health's Decision No. 3416/QD-BYT dated July 14, 2021.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect on the date of its signing.

Article 3.  The Director of the Medical Services Administration, the Chief of the Ministry Office, Chief Inspector; Director Generals and Directors of Directorates, Authorities and Departments under the Ministry of Health; Directors of Hospitals and Institutes under the Ministry of Health; Directors of municipal and provincial Departments of Health; Heads in charge of healthcare of sectors shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
