From December 29, increase frequency of domestic flights
The Ministry of Transport issues the Decision No. 2233/QD-BGTVT amending and supplementing a number of provisions of Provisional Regulation on resumption of regular domestic air routes for safe, flexible adaptation to, and effective control over the COVID-19 pandemic on December 27, 2021.
Accordingly, to continue applying the Decision No. 1840/QD-BGTVT dated October 20, 2021 on the promulgation of Provisional Regulation on resumption of regular domestic air routes for safe, flexible adaptation to, and effective control over the COVID-19 pandemic.
Concurrently, to amend a number of provisions of the Decision No. 1840/QD-BGTVT. Specifically, passengers onboard flights from Can Tho or Tan Son Nhat International Airport are not required to have a negative SARS-CoV-2 test result by rapid antigen or RT-PCR method within 72 hours from the time of sampling to the departure time.
Besides, the operation plan on domestic routes is amended. To be specific: From December 29, 2021, to the end of February 16, 2022, to increase frequency of domestic flights on the following air routes: Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City; Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang and Hanoi – Da Nang. The air routes of Ho Chi Minh City – Hai Phong/Nghe An/Thanh Hoa; Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to/from Phu Quoc, Khanh Hoa; Ho Chi Minh City – Binh Dinh are also added.
This Decision takes effect from the date of its signing.
