DECISION

On promulgating the Interim Guidance on rail transport activities for safe and flexible adaptation and effective control over the COVID-19 pandemic

THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT
 

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 12/2017/ND-CP dated February 10, 2017 defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

Pursuant to the Government’s Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP dated October 11, 2021 promulgating the Interim Regulation on “safe and flexible adaptation and effective control over the COVID-19 pandemic”;

Pursuant to the Government's Resolution No. 78/NQ-CP dated July 20, 2021 on COVID-19 prevention and control;

Pursuant to the Government's Resolution No. 86/NQ-CP dated August 06, 2021 on urgent COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control measures to implement the Resolution No. 30/2021/QH15 dated July 28, 2021 of the 15^th National Assembly;

Pursuant to the Ministry of Health’s Decision No. 4800/QD-BYT dated October 12, 2021 on the implementation of the Government’s Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP dated October 11, 2021 promulgating the Interim Regulation on “safe and flexible adaptation and effective control over the COVID-19 pandemic”;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Transportation and the Director of the Vietnam Railway Authority,

DECIDES:

Article 1. Promulgating together with this Decision the Interim Guidance on rail transport activities for safe and flexible adaptation and effective control over the COVID-19 pandemic.

Article 2. Effect

1. This Decision takes effect on October 21, 2021;

2. To repeal Section VI Part 2 of the Interim Guidance on passenger transport activities in 5 sectors (roadway, railway, inland waterway, maritime, aviation) for safe and flexible adaptation and effective control over the COVID-19 pandemic promulgated together with the Minister of Transport’s Decision No. 1740/QD-BGTVT dated September 30, 2021.

Article 3. The Chief of Ministry Office, Chief of Ministry Inspectorate, Directors of Departments, Director of the Vietnam Railway Authority, Directors of Departments of Transport, Departments of Transport and Construction of provinces and centrally-run cities, Vietnam Railways, rail transport business enterprises, heads of agencies, units; and organizations, individuals related to rail transport activities shall be responsible for the implementation of this Decision./.
