Circular 06/2020/TT-BNNPTNT amending Circular 10/2019/TT-BNNPTNT

CIRCULAR

On amending and supplementing Article 2 of the Circular No. 10/2019/TT-BNNPTNT of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on providing the List of permissible and banned plant protection products in Vietnam

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 15/2017/ND-CP dated February 17, 2017 on defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to the Law on Plant Protection and Quarantine No. 41/2013/QH13 dated November 25, 2013;

At the proposal of the Director of Plant Protection Department;

The Minister or the Agriculture and Rural Development hereby promulgates the Circular on amending and supplementing Article 2 of the Circular No. 10/2019/TT-BNNPTNT of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on providing the List of permissible and banned plant protection products in Vietnam.

Article 1. To add the following content to Article 2 of the Circular No. 10/2019/TT-BNNPTNT of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on providing the List of permissible and banned plant protection products in Vietnam:

“Plant protection products containing the active ingredient glyphosate are not manufactured or imported; only be traded and used until June 30, 2021”.

Article 2. Effect

This Circular takes effect on June 09, 2020.

Article 3. Implementation responsibilities

1. The Director General of the Plant Protection Department, Heads of affiliated units of Ministry, Directors of the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of provinces and centrally-run cities, relevant organizations and individuals shall be responsible for the implementation of this Circular.
